ReMode is a project funded by the Erasmus+ CoVE (Center of Vocational Excellence) programme that aims to improve the quality of Vocational Education and Training (VET) curricula within the circular and sustainable fashion industry, aligning them with the fast-changing requirements of the green, digital, and sustainable economy. It tackles challenges brought on by digitalization, technological progress, climate change, and evolving labor market demands, with an emphasis on reducing the skill “shelf-life” and promoting greater flexibility in VET systems.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:
– Identifying the competencies needed for the future of the sustainable fashion sector
– Increasing the appeal of work-based learning (WBL) by showcasing effective practices, enriched by experiential value, supported by consistent activities and criteria for measuring regional impact and skills development
– Offering thorough training and upskilling opportunities for both professionals and aspiring individuals to prepare them for the twin transition, helping them advance their careers
– Building a global learning network with shared standards, tools, experiences, and insights to support staff and student mobility and foster knowledge sharing
– Strengthening and enabling regional ecosystems and innovation hubs to promote excellence in research, enhance job opportunities, and accelerate the adoption of sustainable technologies and methods
